This needs-based cloud sovereignty is the key: It protects against overregulation, prevents technological setbacks, and at the same time ensures compliance, data protection, and legal certainty.

However, diversification increases operational complexity. The more platforms involved, the greater the risk of silos, security vulnerabilities, and inefficient cloud management.
