Integrated financial planning and digital "Boardroom"
Modernization of Financial Planning at Bertelsmann
Financial planning is of great importance for every company, as it forms the basis for sound business decisions. For this reason, Bertelsmann's Corporate Center decided to use modern technologies such as the SAP Analytics Cloud to modernize its financial planning. In this context, the entire financial planning process was transformed into a minimized, standardized process with SAP Analytics Cloud as the central platform. At the same time, a Digital Boardroom was developed for the Bertelsmann Executive Board, which maps regular reporting for the Corporate Center and is also directly integrated into the planning process. Read here how several sub-processes, including personnel planning, classic cost center planning, revenue planning and investment planning, were made future-proof.
