MISUMI Europe: Automated E-Mail Classification on AWS

MISUMI Europe processes a large number of business-critical emails from customers and suppliers every day. The existing email processing was highly manual and only scalable to a limited extent. A technical platform was needed that would enable the use of automated email classification, integrate flexibly into the existing AWS and Salesforce landscape and ensures stable, scalable and secure operation.

The goal was to build a stable, scalable cloud-native platform on AWS for the automated processing of incoming emails at Misumi Europe. Arvato Systems assumed full end-to-end responsibility for architecture, implementation and operation. The core of the solution is a container-based platform on Amazon EKS, embedded in a standardized AWS target architecture with integrated security, scaling and high availability concepts. Through continuous operation, monitoring and optimization, Arvato Systems ensures reliable and future-proof platform operation.

With the AWS platform implemented by Arvato Systems, MISUMI Europe now has a stable and scalable technical basis for automated email processing. The platform reduces the workload of employees, increases processing speed and creates transparency in downstream processes. Thanks to the modular architecture, increasing email volumes can be easily managed and additional functionalities can be flexibly added.
