Initial Situation

For years, swb Beleuchtung used a combination of Excel lists and e-mails to manage customer data. There was a lack of a clear structure and clarity to best support projects aimed at long-term operations management contracts.


swb Beleuchtung envisioned a customer management system with an automated, customer-centric 360° view. The goal: Data should invigorate, not frustrate! This vision was brought to life by using Microsoft Dynamics 365.


Together with Arvato Systems, the lighting specialist is relaunching with Microsoft Dynamics 365 – and is now more digital and smarter than ever. That’s because not only does it have a 360-degree view of customers and business relationships, it is now also using efficient phase and opportunity-based process chains.
