At Arvato Systems, we want to make equal opportunities and the enormous implementation and creative power of diversity and inclusion tangible. Only a diverse workforce that brings different perspectives to the table gives rise to creativity and genuine innovation. That is why we are committed to recognizing, promoting, and making the best possible use of the potential and skills of all our employees, regardless of gender, age, skin color, origin, disability, or sexual orientation.

 

To not only live these values internally, but also to communicate them externally, we actively support local clubs and organizations that are committed to inclusion, integration, and diversity. These include sports clubs that unite people with and without disabilities, LGBTQ+ clubs that offer people a safe space in which they can live their identity freely, organizations that provide advice and support to disadvantaged and sick children and their families, and organizations where employees and their families can do something for a better environment. Such initiatives are at the heart of a stable society, and we are proud to support them.

 

Diversity is not just an ethical imperative for us; it is the driving force behind our success. The more different perspectives and experiences come together in our company and society, the greater our innovative strength and ability to meet challenges creatively. Our Leadership Principles, therefore, also focus on creating environments in which all employees, regardless of their differences, can grow and develop.

 

We have already achieved a great deal in recent years. Our initiatives, training courses, and events on the topic of diversity strengthen the individual dimensions of diversity, such as gender equality, sexual orientation and identity, physical and mental abilities, and nationality. And we are continuing to build on these initiatives.

 

Therefore, Experience Diversity> is more than just a slogan for us — it's a promise. We promise to actively contribute to breaking down barriers, combating discrimination, and building bridges between people. We are using the launch of our new logo to take a further step at Arvato Systems: to promote more openness, respect, and cooperation.

Together with TECH4GIRLS and RTL Audio will be hosting Girls Day 2025 in April! In addition, we provide premises for TECH4GIRLS vacation boot camps. These offer young girls the opportunity to get involved with technology and digitalization at an early age. The program is accompanied by inspiring keynote speeches from our experts to provide valuable insights into the IT and technology sector.

In the Ruhr area we supported the >Projekt Ankommen e.V.>> with a laptop donation for students and school pupils, among other things. The association helps people with refugee experience with integration, housing, education and work. Since 2015, the project has been promoting a self-determined life for refugees and togetherness by creating encounters with the local population.

"DSCVOLLEY Kids" >>is a joint project between Arvato Systems and the volleyball professionals from >Dresdner Sportclub 1898>> aims to open up new perspectives, particularly for socially disadvantaged children and young people, through sport and community. In addition to the playful approach to volleyball, special attention is paid to social interaction. The partners' commitment therefore stands for key issues such as integration, identification, inclusion and social responsibility.

Gütersloh/Verl

"Sport connects! Experience Diversity and Sport": Together with the >TV Verl >>we offer a variety of sports to get to know on a total of twelve Saturdays - for everyone, regardless of age, origin or handicap. Verl is located in close proximity to our headquarters in Gütersloh, which is why our commitment to the community in this region is particularly important to us. With this initiative, we want to break down barriers, assume social responsibility and show that sport should be accessible to everyone.

In collaboration with the Social Developers Club we make it possible for children and people in need to attend the Social Developers Club Conference on March 15. Through our support, free tickets can be provided so that more people can benefit from the exciting content and inspiring atmosphere of the conference.

In December 2024, our colleagues had the pleasure of visiting the Cologne-based association ">Arsch Huh>>" and hand over our donation. The initiative was founded in 1992 by musicians and is actively committed to combating racism, neo-Nazis and exclusion with the aim of promoting an urban society based on solidarity.

The >Theater im Herzen >>in Leipzig, founded by actor David Leubner, offers a diverse program. The aim is to encourage people through theater and to confront the audience with stories that are also relevant to everyday life. With our donation, we were able to enable socially disadvantaged people and people without shelter to attend the theater free of charge.

We support brotZeit e.V. in Munich. The association makes an invaluable contribution: senior citizens not only prepare breakfast for disadvantaged children, but also give them a feeling of security with their time and attention. This intergenerational concept is unique and makes a real difference - every day.

Rosie's Theater Kids> >is a non-profit organization that gives disadvantaged children and young people access to the performing arts through free music, dance and theater classes. The aim is to promote creative skills, boost self-confidence and improve educational and career opportunities.

The MARTA Centre in Riga is a non-profit organization, the consultation, support and educational-programs um the rights of women to promote and gender violence to fight. The MARTA Center offers women a temporary accommodation, so-called "Crisis apartments". With our donation we were able to help a woman support, the short before dem End ihres stay stands. Rostock

In February, Arvato Systems in Rostock, Germany, has the CSD e.V. with a donation to help launch the "You're safe with us" campaign. The aim of the campaign, together with rat+tat e.V., is to raise awareness of the need for queer safe spaces and to make locations in Rostock visible as queer safe spaces. To this end, eligible locations should make a voluntary commitment to meet the minimum standards for queer safe spaces. The hoped-for signal effect includes empowerment and positioning for queer safer spaces, so that queer people can use safe spaces even when the political situation is tense.

Zurich

The >Foundation Working Chain>> >in Zurich offers people with difficult access to the job market career prospects, particularly in the catering and food production sectors. It supports the social and professional integration of these people through training, qualifications and practical work experience.

Arvato Systems supported this project and our colleagues on site were able to get an idea of this fantastic work in the Krone restaurant.
